How does selling on Ahaeli work?

Selling on Ahaeli is easy. First you list the products that you want to sell on Ahaeli marketplace. Customer sees your product and makes a purchase. You will receive a notification to ship the product. You deliver the product to the customer and confirm shipment. Ahaeli will deposit the funds into your bank account after deducting our fees.

What products can I sell on Ahaeli?

Ahaeli is a unique marketplace. Buyers come here to purchase items that they might not find anywhere else. Everything listed for sale on Ahaeli must be handmade, eco-friendly, vintage or a craft supply.

Handmade items are items that are made and/or designed by you, the seller.

If you sell handmade items, you agree that:

  1. All handmade items are made or designed by you. If you work with a production partner, you must disclose that production partner in your relevant listings.
  2. You accurately describe every person involved in the making of an item in your shop in your About section.
  3. You are using your own photographs – not stock photos, artistic renderings, or photos used by other sellers or sites.

If you are selling personalised or made-to-order items in the Handmade category, you agree that:

  1. All listings are available for purchase at a set price.
  2. If you are using photographs of previous work with options for customisation (like colour choices) included in the listing, it is clear in your description that the photos shown are just examples.

Vintage items must be at least 20 years old.

Craft Supplies are tools, ingredients, or materials whose primary purpose is for use in the creation of an item or special occasion. Craft supplies may be handmade, commercial, or vintage. Party supplies may also be sold as craft supplies.

We encourage you to be transparent about how your craft supplies were made and where your materials come from. You can disclose whether your items have social or environmental attributes, such as organic or recycled. You can also select the location of manufacture. 

What Can't be Sold on Ahaeli

Even if they otherwise meet our marketplace criteria, prohibited items, services, and items that violate our intellectual property policies are not allowed to be sold on Ahaeli.

 What do I need to register as a seller on Ahaeli?

Please mail us at if you want to register to sell on Ahaeli.

You will need the following information to register:

  • Your business details
  • Your contact details - email and phone number
  • Basic information about your business
  • Tax Registration Details (PAN and GST). GST Details are not mandatory if you are registering as sole proprietor.

I don’t have a website, can I still sell on Ahaeli?

You don't need a website to start selling on Ahaeli marketplace. Once you complete registration, you will have access to our Seller platform using which you can list your products for sale on Ahaeli.

Can I sell outside India through Ahaeli marketplace?

No. At this time Ahaeli marketplace allows shipments only within India.

If I list my products using Sell on Ahaeli, will the customer know that he or she is purchasing from me on Ahaeli marketplace?

We will clearly indicate on our product detail pages and offer listing pages that the product is sold by you and the invoice will carry your name.


Fees and Charges

What are the charges for selling on Ahaeli?

There are three basic selling fees: a monthly subscription fee, a transaction fee, and a payment processing fee. Kindly mail us at to get more details regarding our fee and payment policy.

Can I cancel my subscription?

You are free to cancel anytime.

How and when do I get paid?

Ahaeli will disburse payments to your bank account once a week. You will be eligible to get paid for the order 7 days after the return period is over.


Managing your Account

How do I list my products on Ahaeli?

You can use our Web-based interface to list products one at a time, or excel-based inventory files to list your products in bulk. The procedure and information required will vary depending on whether your products are already in the Ahaeli catalogue. Once you complete your registration for selling on Ahaeli, you will be guided on the steps needed to list your products.

How do I manage my orders on Ahaeli?

You can view your orders and manage them through “Manage Orders” inside Seller account( We will create a seller account for you once you complete the registration). You need to pack and ship products to customers and then confirm to the customer about the shipment through your Seller account.



Do you offer protection against fraud?

Yes. Ahaeli helps you protect against fraudulent orders placed on your products and payment fraud.

Can customers leave feedback and why is customer feedback important?

Yes. Customers can leave feedback. Maintaining a high feedback rating is a critical factor for success on Ahaeli. It’s the best way for customers to identify you as a trustworthy seller. Your rating appears on the Offer Listing Page and is one of the first things that customers see. In other marketplaces, we have observed that customers are more likely to purchase products from sellers with higher ratings. Your feedback rating is a key metric used by Ahaeli to measure your performance.
